This provides the formatting guidelines for BPA contests. Contests that will use this are:

Word Processing (beg., int., and adv.), Office and Advanced Office, Legal, Medical, Econ. Research, Admin Research, Admin. Supp. Team, global Marketing Team, Entrep., Interview Skills, Adv. Int. Skills, and Prepared Speech.

​This manual is used for the Human Resource Managment contest. In this contest you are given a problem and must come up with a solution using your HR manual and then present it to judges. Good speaking skills are helpful in this contest.

The contests that allows the use of a calculator must make sure to follow these guidelines.

Contest that allow graphics should follow these guidelines. These contests would be Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design Promotion, Digital Publishing, Web Site Team, etc...

​Individual Entry Form

Many contests require that an Individual Entry Form be typed, signed and submitted. Make sure to read the WSAP specs in your contest and type up and provide one to your advisor when your project is due if it needs one.

​Team Entry Form

All team events require this form to be typed and signed to be sent with your presubmit (if there is one) and again when you do your event. Make sure to read the WSAP guidelines and type, sign, and give to your advisor when your presubmit is due. Rember to also bring along when you compete.

​Release Form

Whenever you use the name of a person or a picture or video of someone, you must have a typed and signed release form. Make sure to read the WSAP specs and get this done and turned into your advisor with your entry when your presubmit is due. Contest that will usually require this to be done are: Video Production Team, Broadcast News Team, and Website Team. It is possible that there could be others. Make sure to talk to your advisor if you are not sure.
